Three Dragons Way Attends
2026 Light of Tai Chi Conference with
Grand Master Chen Zhenglei

From June 28 through July 2, 2026, Three Dragons Way travelled to Palo Mesa California (just north of San Diego) to participate in the 2026 Light of Tai Chi Conference and Meetings. Master Gary Huff along with his wife, son, and Disciples and students participated in several of the classes offered by Grandmaster Chen. Three Dragons Way participated in the Health and Wellness class, the Details of the Lao Jia Yi Lu Form with Chen Bin, the 56 Competition Form with Chen Juan, and Push Hands with Wang Hai Jun.
Master Chen Zhenglei, Gary Huff
Master Gary Huff, as an In-Chamber Disciple of Grandmaster Chen Zhenglsi, was appointed to be a vice president of the newly formed Chen Zhenglei Americas Disciples and Second-Generation Disciples Council.
Master Gary Huff was also appointed to the position of Vice President of the American Chen Style Taijiquan Promotion Association. Effective as of June 30, 2026. Along with these promotions Master Huff also helped oversee new In-Room Disciples (not In-Chamber). Many new Disciples went through the ceremony and were authorized by Grand Master Chen Zhenglei to carry on the teachings of the Chen Family.
Three Dragons Way has taught Chen Tai Chi in the Kansas City area since 1996 when Grand Master Chen Quanzhong first visited our home. In 2000 Master Huff met Grandmaster Chen Zhengeli and became a first level Disciple in 2006 in Zhengzhou China.
In 2024, Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei and his wife Liu Lili traveled to Kansas City to perform the ceremony for Gary Huff to become an In-Chamber Disciple. It was an honor to have a special event and many students made their pledges at that time to become official Disciples of Master Gary Huff.
With this recent forming of a Disciples Council and a Taijiquan Promotion Association, Three Dragons Way plans to take on more promotion of Chen Taijiquan in the Midwest.
The Future of Chen Taijiquan is bright, and Three Dragons Way is building a great light.
