Beginner Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a Chinese exercise that improves balance and increases circulation. Learn some history and basic principles of the training method of tai chi while practicing movements from the original Chen style of Tai Chi. Participants will practice warm-up exercises known as chi-gong, standing repeating movements (silk-reeling), and learn how to put them together for a short routine. Start learning the basics as a beginner and progress to higher levels of tai chi for even more fun! You do not need any experience..
Intermediate Tai Chi 1
After learning the beginning Tai Chi material, students may progress to the Intermediate Tai Chi Class. This class builds on more movements and exercises from the Beginners' class. Participants will learn more postures plus details and principles of Tai Chi movements. It is strongly suggested that students enroll in both beginner and intermediate classes to keep training in the previously learned movements.
Intermediate Tai Chi 2
This class is suited for beginners and intermediates who want to continue basic training to go further in the Chen Style of Tai Chi. Warm-ups, Wuji, Silk Reeling, Fa-Jing, and Wa-Lu Exercises will be used. This is a great class to take your Tai Chi to a deeper level.
Advanced Tai Chi
Students will continue to learn the Lao Jia (Long Form of Chen Tai Chi). This Class will teach the finer points and details of the last sections of the Chen Style Long Form. Students must have a strong foundation in Chen Style for these movements. This class is a natural continuation into the deeper movements of the Long Form.
60 minutes, warm-ups, form training, principles of tai chi.
