Marilyn Harrold became a student of Tai Chi under Master Gary Huff in 2007. She belonged to the Kansas City Tai Chi Studio and learned the standard forms of Taijiquan as well as other select topics of Chinese Boxing. Marilyn completed the requirements to become an instructor and earned her certificate.
Marilyn moved to Haines Alaska, in the northern part of the Northwest Passageway in 2013. She immediately begin teaching classes of Tai Chi to various groups of students, ranging from youth to seniors, and beginners to experienced.
Her group of students has grown over the past 8 years in Haines. Marilyn organized a seminar with Three Dragons Way in September of 2021 to nurture her students and provide a training for a select group of advanced students to become certified instructors. As a result of the webinar and certification of additional instructors, a school of Tai Chi has emerged.
Three Dragons Way welcomes Marilyn and her group into the Chen Taijiquan Family as a sister school, under the Banner of Grand Master Chen Zhenglei.
